Advanced EMTs

Lancaster EMS is currently recruiting Full-time Advanced EMTs. The Lancaster EMS Advanced EMT is responsible for the full spectrum of out of hospital emergency and non-emergency patient care and transportation at the Basic Life Support (BLS) and the Advanced EMT (AEMT) level as outlined in PA EMS Act and as defined by the PA DOH Scope of Practice, Lancaster EMS policies, procedures, protocols and standard operating guidelines.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, proficiency, in-depth knowledge of PA DOH Protocol, and perform job tasks with minimal supervision. They should function effectively in a team dynamic, possess strong communication skills, and maintain composure under stressful situations. Candidates are required to pass all required background and motor vehicle driving checks. Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred

Paramedics/PHRNs

Lancaster EMS is currently recruiting Full-time Paramedics/PHRNs. We are the largest and only nationally accredited ambulance service in Lancaster County, responding to over 57,000 requests for service annually. In a designed tiered response system, Lancaster EMS Paramedics and PHRNs respond with BLS and Intermediate units to 9-1-1 and non-9-1-1 incidents in a single-provider ALS squad or in a Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The Lancaster EMS Paramedic / PHRN is responsible for the full spectrum of out of hospital emergency and non-emergency patient care and transportation at the Advanced Life Support (ALS) level as outlined in the PA EMS Act and as defined by the PA DOH Scope of Practice, Lancaster EMS policies, procedures, protocols and standard operating guidelines.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, proficiency, in-depth knowledge of PA DOH Protocol, perform job tasks with minimal supervision, and deliver thorough and complete patient care documentation. They should function effectively in a team dynamic, possess excellent communication skills, multi-task and function effectively in a high-volume system, and maintain composure under stressful conditions. All candidates are required to pass all background and motor vehicle driving checks. Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
